Carlos Apellániz

The versatility of his concert activity gives meaning to performances full of dynamism and energy. His passage through the most prestigious international piano competitions —such as those of Santander, Paris and Salzburg— has allowed him to maintain a constant presence at the finest festivals around the world.

His interest in chamber music and newly created music, together with the recognised artistic quality he brings to all his projects, has led him to work alongside the finest performers and composers of the moment. With his brother, cellist David Apellániz, he forms the Apellániz Duo.
